Vote for my girls!

I took Kaylee and Ryleigh to Girls' Night Out at the Garden Baby Boutique last weekend, where they had princess "makeovers". The photos of each girl are posted in the photographer's blog and they are having a contest for the cutest little girl. Ryleigh and Kaylee are picture number 1. Vote for them at Reflections Photography.

I LOVE these pettiskirts!

Blushing Buttercream Pettiskirt GIVEAWAY!!!!

One of my favorite blogs is giving one away! I have been wanting to make one of these for each of the girls for a long time. I actually used the tutorial to make a short version of one from Kaylee's tinkerbell costume last year. Maybe I can win one and save myself some time!!

The Toy Society Worldwide Christmas Toy Drop

This Christmas I participated in The Toy Society's first worldwide toy drop! For those who haven't heard of The Toy Society, it started as an urban beautification project. Now, people all over the world leave handmade toys out in public for anyone to find and love. For Christmas they organized a worldwide toy drop the weekend before Christmas. I made a simple little moster puff.

Tyler and I left it on a bench outside the Port Orchard Fred Meyer store.

When we came back a hour later, it was gone! I love what the Toy Society does, and I hope more people will join the ranks of toy droppers and spread some handmade love!

My first full apron

My SIL Kim desperately needed an apon. She is always messing up her clothes while cooking. She likes red and black together, so I decided to make her this apron for Christmas (modeld by my little sister):

I combined two views of a Simplicity pattern. I used a cherry patterned cotton and some red and black broadcloth. For my first full apron I love how it turned out! I even put two pockets on it!
